Got the red metal shells.

The casings fit perfectly in the UDL M1887. Be aware that they are indeed fully made out of metal and thus will not only be heavier in your gun (and pouches), but also hit any surface harder when ejected than the nylon casings would. They also might scratch your gun and other casings a bit more, but I don’t see much issue there.

Performance-wise, they are noticeably more effective than the original nylon casings. The darts fit more snug in them and get fired out with more power.

Be aware that the bottom part of the casings is screwed in, which you might want to tighten before use. This might also grant you nice access to the casings’ inner workings, should you want to tinker with it to further tighten the seal or something.

Have I mentioned how pretty they are? They got a nice shine to them and look especially great in an ammo bandoleer, if you ask me. Here and there a bit of color might get knocked off, though, which is a bit disappointing.
